Ruddington Beer Festival

It’s the last day of ‘Ruddfest 2023’! Ruddington’s annual beer, cider, gin, food and music festival starts at 12-noon at various participating village venues.

Ruddfest will be centred around the main marquee on The Green along with The Frame Breakers, the White Horse and Red Lion pubs also joining with the festivities.

“The village green will have the usual set-up, as in previous years, with beer, cider, and a premium spirits wall with flavoured gin, vodka and rum” says organiser John Noble. “The Frame Breakers is involved and will be hosting a stall from The Ruddington Arms doing their ‘Ruddy Clucker’ chicken and loaded fries. Plus The Grange will be here, too, with their hog roast sandwiches.”

Ukraine donation baskets will also be available at this event because John along with Dave Frankie undertake regular humanitarian trips there. The duo hope people will donate their £1 glass deposit when they have finished to this good cause. Their next trip is due to start on 10th June 2023.

Organisers ask you to drink responsibly – and come to RuddFest using public transport, if possible. On Sundays, Nottingham City Transports’s Green 10/10C serves The Green.
